We’re excited to share that Alek was selected as this year’s George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering Outstanding Scholar Award recipient, an award given to the graduating senior with the strongest scholastic record in the program.

Alek worked with both the PoWeR and EPIC Labs during his time at Georgia Tech. He worked closely with PoWeR Lab PhD student Amro Alshareef and EPIC Lab PhD student Yash Mhaskar while completing his undergraduate thesis through Georgia Tech’s Research Option program.

This is an incredible achievement, and we’re proud to have been part of Alek’s undergraduate research journey. Congratulations, Alek, and best of luck in what comes next!
