Melody is a GAANN Fellow in the Biology PhD Program. Under the guidance of Dr. Sawicki and Dr. Chang, she’s hoping to investigate the ways fatigue influences stability and agility in the lower limb through a hopping paradigm. The goal of this research is to better characterize the underlying mechanisms and implications of neuromuscular fatigue, so that clinical populations and athletes can optimize their rehabilitation and training, respectively.

In her free time, Melody enjoys cooking new foods, rollerskating around GT’s campus, and taking her cat Mac on walks.
