As a PhD Student in Robotics, Laksh combines his foundational training in artificial intelligence, control theory and human-robot interaction with a deep understanding of the neuromechanics of terrestrial locomotion to discover how animals navigate complex terrain and develop wearable robots to augment human stability and agility. When not doing research, he is typically seen playing chess, discovering the latest local craft brews, or reading nonfiction.
