Ari Horwitz is a Mechanical Engineering M.S. Thesis student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, advised by Dr. Gregory Sawicki. He received his B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. Ari’s research focuses on biomechanics and age-related changes in walking, combining wearable sensors and robotic exoskeletons to study and enhance human movement. He is also particularly interested in applying biomechanics to improve performance among athletes.
Outside school and lab, Ari loves playing pickup basketball, tennis, and trying new food.
