Qingyi Lou
M.S. student, Bioengineering (2022 – present)
B.S. Biomedical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology (2022)
Qingyi’s research is focused on characterizing how load carriage and fatigue affect balance. She hopes new insights from this research will leads to biomechanics based fall-preventing strategies, both behavior strategies for occupations that requires load bearing and design strategies for weighted apparatus worn in locomotions.
Outside of research, Qingyi is a competitive powerlifter and bodybuilder where she bring knowledges from the academia to practice.
