Max is a postdoctoral researcher in the EPIC and PoWeR labs, and he researches design, control, and perception of robotic assistive devices for people with mobility impairments. Max received his PhD from Northwestern University in 2019, performing his research in the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, and has previously worked at Google X and been a visiting scholar at Ossur.
